Ark Hotel

The Ark resort project was developed by Russian firm Remi-studio with the assistance of the International Partnership of Architects’ program Architecture for Problems Relief. The dome-shaped resort is constructed with hardwood archways, steel cables and wires and a ”self-cleaning” plastic layer instead of glass. The slinky-like Ark resort can be designed to suit both land and water. It is developed to stay going in the event of fulfills or rising waters. The 14,000 square gauge shell-like construction of archways and cables and wires markets the weight consistently, meaning it can endure earthquakes. Sunlight is strained through to internal rooms due to the resort’s see-through structure, reducing the need for lighting.

It is developed ”an incorporated energy program with an uninterpretable energy using electrical energy sources”, the place uses solar energy panels and a rain collection program to provide population with energy and water. It would be developed around a central main connecting to roof-top wind turbines and heat pushes, as well as to energy storage and heat transformation units below. There will also be a ‘tornado’ energy gen
erating control at the top of the main.
