London, Dec 15 (IANS) Actor Garrett Hedlund has confirmed he will return to play Sam Flynn in "Tron 3".
The 28-year-old actor, who plays Sam Flynn in the Disney sci-fi franchise, is set to reprise his role in the follow-up movie and revealed he is ''very excited'' about the project, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
When asked about his return to the film during the press conference of his film "On the Road", Garrett said: ''Yeah. Are we gonna break this now? Disney's very excited. That's about that. You know, yeah, I'm very excited, Disney's very excited.''
In the 2010 installment "Tron Legacy", Hedlund played the son of original actor Jeff Bridges' character Kevin Flynn from the 1982 film "Tron", but his role in the sequel is being kept secret along with the plot.
